These drawings of faces are inspired by Carla Bromhead’s work, her practice focuses on the faces and detail of the ageing face. Her practice explores the idea of the anonymous and ageing face, using pencil as a tool of enquiry to question what the wrinkled line reveals, and deliberately withholding information to challenge any assumptions made.
